Wind-Rose Guest House \ Accommodation in Gordons Bay

Wind-Rose Guest House and Conference Venue is situated on the gentle slopes of Firlands between Gordon’s Bay and Somerset West near Cape Town in an area of small holdings and farm land. We offer spectacular sea views from Cape Poin to Table Mountain over False Bay and the Hottentots Holland Mountain Range.

Accommodation

The guest house is situated on 3 acres of indigenous gardens, and offers eight magnificent large King size en-suite bedrooms opening onto a private terrace where you can relax and enjoy magnificent views and spectacular sunsets. The garden has two private Barbecue pits for the use of our guests and their friends. All food and drink can be provided upon request.

All bedrooms can accommodate four guests with a king size bed and a double sleeper couch. All rooms come standard with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, Tea and coffee making facilities, fully equipped mini bar, Wireless Internet Hotspot, Private balcony, DSTV with Sports and movies, DVD player, Ironing facilities, Hair Drier, Safe and clock radio.

Facilities

Wash and fold Laundry service can be done upon request. We have a single room which is Wheel chair accessible, with extra wide doorways, roll in shower and specially height adjusted toilets and wash hand basin. The facilities with the exception of the gym are all wheel chair accessible.

Our gym is fully equipped with a cross trainer, treadmill, exercise bicycle, rowing machine, weight machine and bench press table. We have an informal lounge / bar area with a full liquor license, equipped with a large screen TV, DVD Player, DSTV, Fire Place and Pool Table.

Breakfast & Dining

Breakfast is served in the dining room or on the verandah (weather permitting). Dinner can be done upon request. We can cater for vegetarian as well as Halaal delegates.

Conferences

Our conference venue can accommodate a maximum of 35 delegates. The facility is fully equipped with a multi-media projector, white boards, Flip charts, clip rails, DVD and VCR player. We have three lounge areas that can be used for break away groups as well as the two breakfast areas.

On a nice day there is seating in the garden which may also be utilized. Our conference packages include welcome drinks, morning tea and coffee with a selection of baked goods, a two course lunch and afternoon tea with a selection of baked goods.

Location

Wind-Rose is centrally located in an area that offers beaches, horseback riding, deep sea fishing, waterskiing, diving, whale watching, golf and wine tasting. We are only 23 km from Cape Town international Airport. A shuttle pick up and drop off service can be arranged as well as car and motor cycle rental.

Whether for business or pleasure, we offer the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city but are still close enough for an easy commute.
