Wild Peach Cottage is a private, spacious and secure two bedroom self-catering and self-contained cottage, situated in Constantia, a leafy and peaceful suburb of Cape Town. Located in a private and peaceful garden setting with glorious mountain and valley views, Wild Peach Cottage will appeal to the discerning traveller for whom privacy, security, peace and tranquillity are a priority.

The cottage is a family-oriented and child-friendly establishment, especially suitable for a family with up to two children (an additional third infant child can also be accommodated) and will equally serve all the needs of the couple or single person seeking a haven of peace and tranquillity during a visit to Cape Town on holidays or on business.

Direct access to the immediately adjacent Constantia Greenbelt, with its well-maintained network of walking and running paths, provides numerous options for the more active and energetic visitor. From the cottage, guests have close and easy access by car to all urban conveniences as well as all major attractions of Cape Town, the Cape Peninsula and surrounding areas.

ACCOMMODATION

The cottage has a large open-plan lounge and dining area with a generous kitchen area. The dining area, with a dining room table seating six, leads out to a private north-facing patio with a patio table seating four. A portable Braai/Barbeque/Grill facility is available for you to enjoy outside summer meals on the patio.

In the lounge area, you can enjoy the comfort of the sofas in front of a wood-burning fireplace (wood is provided and replenished on a daily basis). Television provides access to a comprehensive selection of satellite television channels via DSTV and DEUKOM (six-channel German-language satellite television channel) and a DVD player, with a small selection of DVD’s, is available for the viewing pleasure of visitors.

The attractive modern kitchen area is fully equipped with modern appliances such as fridge with large freezing facilities, oven and hob, microwave oven, washing machine, dish-washing machine, toaster and kettle.

The cottage has two bedrooms, both supplied with quality 100% cotton linen and with ample storage space available in built-in cupboards. The first bedroom has two single beds. The second spacious main bedroom has a queen-size bed and enough space for a small portable cot (if required for an infant child). French doors lead out on to a second outdoor patio area, with a patio table seating two people. Immediately adjacent to this second patio is the children play area for the younger children, with a jungle gym and Wendy House.

Both bedrooms have separate access to the bathroom and separate toilet, with a basin. The bathroom is north-facing, with separate bath, shower and basin. Sufficient quantities of quality towels are provided.

A covered car port and additional parking area provides sufficient parking for the cars of the visitor as well as any guests behind a separate security gate. Top security is provided with 24 hour Chubb Alarm security service back-up as well as a mini safe to store all valuable possessions. The property is fully enclosed with top quality security fencing. Guests have their own access via electronic security gate and remotes.
