They have spent years lovingly collecting interesting and rare pieces of antique and modern furniture, art and sculpture and together have created this stunning guest house with its eclectic fusion of styles creating the unique warmth of Vygeboom Manor.

Accommodation

The suites at Vygeboom Manor guest house are extra spacious and all en-suite with stunning views all located on the first floor of the Manor House.

Each suite is individually and tastefully decorated with an enormous mural painted by your hostess and renowned artist Luli Hamman, creating the focal point in the suite. Reproductions include works from amongst others Gaugin, Valadon, Matisse, Rubens and Manet.

Six spacious en-suite rooms some with patios, all with beautiful mountain and garden views. All rooms are fully equipped with the finest percale linen, coffee and tea making facilities, TV, telephone, fully stocked minibar fridge, air-conditioning, heaters, fans, personal toiletries, electric blankets, comfortable easy chairs, work desk/table for the busy executive.

A unique warmth and style is evident throughout this stunning home which has been lovingly furnished with timeless pieces by Luli and Callie over the years. You'll feel right at home in the unusually spacious suites with their en-suite bathrooms, some with authentic Victorian slipper baths and brass taps and fittings.

Suites are located on the 1st floor level of the manor house and afford magical views of the estate and the Hottentots Holland mountain range. With an abundant birdlife in the lush garden, waking up at Vygeboom Manor Guest House will get you thinking that you're on a farm.

Facilities

A pool table in the living area, DSTV, board games and an enormous selection of books will keep you occupied should you wish to relax in the spacious lounge area where a crackling fire burns during the chilly winter months. Alternatively you can spend an interesting evening in the cozy cellar created by Callie and share a good bottle of Durbanville wine and good music with friends.

The Manor House is set on a sprawling estate in one of Durbanville’s most sought-after suburbs.  Surrounded by a lush garden with abundant birdlife, the property is fully secure and offers guests secure parking. Views of the Hottentots Holland Mountain range are spectacular from the first floor where the spacious suites are located.

The guest house is centrally located to all of Cape Town's major tourist attractions, beaches, restaurants, shopping centres in addition to the Cape Town, Bellville and Durbanville business districts and major highways.
