“The Cape of Good Hope, one of the great Capes of the Southern Ocean, has always been of special significance to the sailors of clipper ships heading to the Far East and Australia”. It is also the western entrance and calming barrier of the 25km wide False Bay, a treasure-trove of cliffs, bays and Indian Ocean beaches.

Surfers Corner is the start of the stunning 20km long white, sandy Muizenberg beach which holds the prestigious Blue Flag Beach status.

Accommodation

Our 2 brand new luxury self-catering apartments in the adjoining Empire and Greens buildings are located right on the beach at the end of the Beach Road cul-de-sac. The apartments sleep up to 4 and 6 people respectively.

The Apartments

Empire 308
Empire 308 has one bedroom with a queen-size double bed, en-suite bathroom with bath and shower, open plan lounge / dining room / kitchen and an east facing balcony. Enjoy breakfast on the balcony as the sun comes flooding into the courtyard. In the lounge is a double leather sleeper couch, thus the apartment can sleep up to 4 people.

Greens 307
Greens 307 has two bedrooms with queen-size double beds, two bathrooms (main en-suite) with bath and shower, open plan lounge / dining room / kitchen. In the lounge is a double leather sleeper couch, thus the apartment can sleep up to 6 people.

The first two of these five as well as the Boulder’s Beach Penguin Colony, the Constantia Wine Route and Kalk Bay are less than 20 minutes from Muizenberg. The Kalk Bay Harbour area is a delight for connoisseurs of fine foods, art and antiques alike.

Muizenberg Beach is paradise for a family holiday with swimming, surfing, tidal pools, waterslides, putt-putt golf on your doorstep (the world record for most surfers on one wave was set at Surfers Corner in 2006). Take a long walk on the beach, stroll along the boardwalk towards Kalk Bay or go hiking on the mountain trails above Muizenberg and enjoy breathtaking views of False Bay (where you will spot whales between August and November).
