Southern Comfort Guest Lodge is a small and modern guest house located in the quiet residential suburb of Oranjezicht in the heart of Cape Town and on the slopes of Table Mountain.

Completely upgraded in 2011 the house has been sensitively and stylishly re-modeled. The result is a contemporary modern home with outdoor pool, a roof top deck and great views all over Cape Town. Interiors are chic with a subtle yet distinctive African spirit.

Southern Comfort Guest Lodge has a choice of 5 en-suite bedrooms, furnished in a comfortable style giving each a distinctive character. Private terraces, outdoor entertainment areas, wireless internet throughout the house, a large lounge and breakfast area are to the convenience of all guests. The outdoor pool and the sun loungers make you enjoy your holidays.

Southern Comfort Guest Lodge boasts a stunning roof top deck with 360° views of the Table Mountain, Lions Head, Signal Hill, Table Bay and the city.

ACCOMODATION

Southern Comfort Guest Lodge offers high comfort - all guest rooms have en-suite bathrooms, three rooms open to their own private terrace. The bedrooms have comfortable king-size beds (twins) with new mattresses and highest quality linens.

The rooms have advanced air conditioning with cooling and electrical heating mode. The en-suite bathrooms come with heated towel racks and walk-in showers. Each room has a tea, coffee and kettle, flat screen satellite TV, WiFi Internet connection, electronic safe, personal gowns and hairdryer.

Breakfast

English or continental breakfast is served in the dining room or on the sunny balcony.

Phone and laundry service is available in-house at reasonable charge.

Southern Comfort Guest Lodge offers half day and full day tours to all attractions around the Cape. Airport transfers, tours and activities can be arranged on request.

On the guest floor Southern Comfort operates a guest kitchen equipped with fridge, microwave, dishes and cutlery. The Guest House is a non-smoking establishment.

Hosts and staff speak English, French, Xhosa and German and endeavor to make your stay in Cape Town an unforgettable one.

The convenient location of the guest house makes it the ideal home for either the holiday or business traveller. The house is in walking distance to the De Waal Park and the popular Gardens Shopping Centre.

Southern Comfort Guest Lodge is close to the vibrant Kloof Street with its large variety of restaurants. You easily may stroll to the Company Gardens and the City Centre of Cape Town.

All our guests have easy access to the V&A Waterfront (15 minutes), Camps Bay and Clifton beaches (15 minutes), Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens (20 minutes) and the Cape Town International Airport (20 minutes). The wonderful wine region around Stellenbosch, Somerset West and Paarl is a 30 to 45 minute drive.
