Self Catering Accommodation

A well equipped kitchen serves directly onto a large open plan dining area. For those home prepared meals for family and friends the 10 seater dining room table makes for a great occasion. The large adjacent lounge is perfect for those lazy days and comes with all your entertainment needs whether it be listening to music or watching your favorite sport.

From the lounge the enclosed garden is accessed through large sliding doors here you can soak up the surrounds in the comfort of two large day beds. For those hot days the pool makes for the perfect refuge.

The South side of the house is beautifully shaded by age old milk woods and is perfect for barbequing and alfresco dining around the eight seater outside table with perfect sea views over the bay of Kommetjie.

Bedrooms
The house boasts one massive master bedroom that has its own sitting area, massage bed and private balcony with sea and mountain views of Hout Bay and Table Mountain to the north.

Downstairs you’ll find a large queen size en-suite bedroom with access to the shaded outside area.

A second queen size bedroom is linked to the en-suite bathroom by a kid’s room with two bunk beds. This is ideal for families with small children who like them close at hand.

Being situated in the heart of the village one can head out in any direction and be sure to find something of interest.

Head north and you will wind your way along a sea side path till you come to Long Beach. A landmark that has become a house hold name amongst surfers worldwide and is regarded as one of the top surf locations on the African continent.

Head east into the village and find entertaining pubs, restaurants and a convenient store for those last minute essentials.

Going south and curving your way along the banks of the little bay you will come to the tallest steel light house in South Africa. Don’t stop there because the view from the top of the light house is very worthwhile as you get a birds eye view of just how spectacular this little village and its surrounds are.

A five minute walk to the west and you will find yourself in another little treasure that bird lovers from all over come to see. A nesting ground for numerous species of bird that migrate from the cold northern hemisphere during our long, warm summer.

The whales are also prolific in the spring months when they can be heard blowing on those still nights and be watched by day where they frolic in the shallows close enough to you for you to feel their enormous presence.

Hop on a bicycle or jump in your car and experience all the attractions beyond.

With Cape Town only a 45 minute drive away you can experience the vibrant city life or visit the numerous wine farms that are scattered all over for some fine wine tasting and unbelievable cuisine.
