Somer Place is a highly recommended 3 Star Bed and Breakfast Guest Lodge. It is a tranquil haven situated 30 minutes from Cape Town in the surrounding countryside of Somerset West. It is close to the Winelands of Stellenbosch, the sheltered beaches of False Bay and the majestic Table Mountain. The airport is situated 25 minutes away from us. Close to Somer Place you have 5 golf courses only 1-20 minutes drive away.

Enjoy a quiet location, ample parking in a safe environment, a well tended garden, large swimming pool and a delicious breakfast. We have 6 double rooms and 1 family room (all with en suite bathrooms).

Accommodation

The rooms are modern and offer you a number of conveniences; TV, fast internet, wireless, telephone (affordable phone calls via internet), tea and coffee tray and a fridge. Fax facilities and laundry services are available.

Twin Bed
Twin bedroom, this room is comfortable with a TV, fridge and coffee/tea tray. En suite bathroom. Internet accessible from room as well as affordable internet telephone which puts you in touch with Europe and the rest of the world. You have a view over the pool and garden. Some twin bedrooms can sleep 3 or 4 people if we add folding beds.

Double Bed (Queen Bed - extra length)
This room is comfortable with a 2m queen sized bed, TV, fridge and coffee/tea tray. En suite bathroom. Internet accessible from room as well as affordable internet telephone which puts you in touch with Europe and the rest of the world. You have a view over the pool and garden, or you have a view over a little private garden.

Family room (King Bed)
This room is comfortable with a TV, fridge, microwave and coffee/tea tray. Internet accessible from room as well as affordable internet telephone which puts you in touch with Europe and the rest of the world. The en suite bathroom is very comfortable and you have a view over a little private garden. It includes a sleeper couch and can easily sleep 4 people.

Breakfast

An English or German Breakfast is included.

We would like to help you with ideas around your stay with us. We can also assist you by arranging your rental cars, booking a table in one of the good local restaurants, offering information about the surrounding nature reserves, hiking trails, craft markets, museums, shopping malls, night life, water sports, adventure trips, etc. We offer you airport transfers and individual and special tours (e.g. township and wine tours). We are pleased to welcome you at our guesthouse.
