Situated in the heart of the French Huguenot valley of Franschhoek, known as the food and wine capital of South Africa, you will find Rusthof Country House. Rusthof, surrounded by large oak trees and magnificent mountains, is an exclusive Country House catering for twelve guests at most.

Accommodation

Each of the spacious bedrooms has its own unique character, with pure cotton bed linen, coffee and tea facilities and the most luxurious interior décor. All the bedrooms have en-suite bathrooms with separate bath and shower. They are fully air-conditioned and have underfloor heating (even the bathrooms).

Dining

Our chef prepares delicious country cuisine for your breakfast. Enjoy the cold buffet of fruit juices, fresh muesli and marinated fruits, yoghurts, cheese, home-made bread, croissants and preserves; followed by a choice of hot country fare, all served in the delightfully decorated French Provençal 'kitchen' dining-room.

Wine Tours

Frank will gladly arrange personalised wine tours of exclusive cellars of the area. We will make lunch and dinner reservations for you in any of our Valley's gourmet restaurants - many are within walking distance of Rusthof.
