The house boasts a sheltered courtyard as well as two decks, one with braai facilities, which are ideal for dining al fresco. The spacious living room / dining room has a fireplace for winter visitors and the open plan kitchen which is fully equipped and has beautiful ceramics made by the local potter. Tiled floors, a washing machine and a tumble drier help to ensure a laid-back beach holiday.

The house has two bathrooms and two bedrooms, both with double beds, as well as two single beds, and could accommodate two couples or a family with children. The house is baby friendly with a secure railing around the deck. All bedding and towels are provided and all rooms have uninterrupted sea and mountain views.

Activities and Attractions

Enjoy a sundowner while watching the sun set and the moon rise … and why not sleep under the stars on the partially enclosed deck in the summertime? Follow your own little footpath to collect mussels off the rocks a stone’s throw from the house, dive for crayfish in the nearby rock pools, or spend the day swimming and surfing at one of the local beaches.

Picnic in the botanical gardens and admire the waterfalls, hike in the Koggelberg reserve and swim in the Palmiet River or visit the penguins at Stony Point ... or perhaps all you need is to sit on the deck and watch the waves splashing on the rocks and the whales playing in the bay?
