Mount Ceder Lodge \ Accommodation in Citrusdal

Mount Ceder is situated in a valley surrounded by the Cederberg and Koue Bokkeveld mountain ranges. Located on Grootrivier farm, across the main route through the Cederberg, approximately 95 km north of Ceres and south of Clanwilliam.

The area offers peace and tranquillity, with beautiful scenery and a perennial river that flows through the farm. There is abundant opportunity for mountain climbing, bird watching, walking, horse riding, and mountain biking, fishing, canoeing and swimming in clear river pools. For the more adventurous there is the Cederberg with interesting scenery, 4x4 routes and longer hiking routes in close proximity.

Accommodation

Kamferboom; Olienhout; Peperboom:
These three cottages accommodate 4 people each. One double bedroom which sleeps two guests and a large lounge which accommodates two guests. Bathroom with bath and hand-shower included. Spectacular scenery all round.

Puntjie:
This cottage is situated away from the others and accommodates six guests in two bedrooms and with two single beds in the living area. It includes two bathrooms, a fully operational kitchen and comfortable lounge area.

Taaibos:
This cottage is situated away from the others, overlooking the river, and accommodates six guests in two bedrooms and with two single beds in loft room. It includes two bathrooms, a fully operational kitchen and comfortable lounge area.

Blinkberg; Waboomhoek:
These two stone cottages offer luxury and comfort for any visitor. They each accommodate six guests and have three bathrooms, a fully operational kitchen and comfortable lounge area. Spectacular scenery all round.

Klipbokkop:
This luxury stone cottage offers the guest wonderful views and air-conditioned comfort. It accommodates six guests in two en-suite bedrooms and a loft bedroom with a third bathroom downstairs. It has a fully operational kitchen and comfortable lounge area. It is located on the ridge overlooking the river, with a Jacuzzi set into the outside wooden deck. Serviced daily.

All cottages are fully equipped with bedding, towels and fully operational kitchen.

Weddings & Conferences
Seating up to fifty delegates and with a breakaway room for up to ten, Mount Ceder has the perfect venue for small weddings, private functions and conferences. The eight luxury cottages, with 18 bedrooms (in total), provide accommodation to suit, whilst the Old Millhouse serves delicious home cooked meals. Facilities include an overhead projector, flip-charts, white boards, TV and VCR.
