Maison Provence \ Accommodation in Franschhoek

Maison Provence invites you to pamper yourself and come enjoy the peaceful haven of luxury, charm and comfort that it offers. Nestled on the La Petite Provence wine estate, only a two minute drive away from the bustle of the village, the house provides luxurious, self-catering accommodation in Franschhoek for up to four guests. It is the ideal setting for a romantic escape, special anniversaries and wedding guests.

Self Catering Accommodation

Maison Provence is fully serviced on a daily basis. Accommodation is offered in two bedrooms (queen-size beds) with en-suite bathrooms. One bathroom has a bath and shower and the other bathroom only has a shower. The rooms are comfortably furnished with feather duvets, pillows, pure cotton linen and complimentary toiletries. Fleecy gowns and hot water bottles are provided. Both bedrooms have double doors that open onto patio/garden.

Facilities

The house is equipped with a washing machine, a spacious living/dining and kitchen area as well as a breakfast counter with stools. The kitchen is fully- equipped including a fridge, oven and hob microwave, coffee-maker, cutlery, crockery, glasses and cooking utensils.

The dining room is furnished with a table and leather chairs. The fireplace is surrounded by comfortable couches and there is a separate TV lounge with leather sofas, DSTV and DVD player. There is air conditioning in the living area and under floor heating in the bedroom. The patio has an outdoor dining table. The house has a private garden complete with water features and there is 24 hour gate security.

At Maison Provence, you will find yourself relaxing into a slower pace of life .You can wake to a leisurely breakfast on the private outdoor patio, soaking up the first gentle rays of sunshine and savouring the peace and tranquillity. Breakfast can be followed by a gentle stroll around the estate, leaving time to feed the ducks.

Activities and Attractions

Spend time exploring the historic and charming village of Franschhoek. Browse the local shops, visit the galleries and dine at award winning local restaurants. Then come home to the peacefulness and comfort of Maison Provence.

Enjoy late afternoon tea in the privacy of the colourful, lavender scented garden, lulled by the gently flowing fountains. After tea indulge in an afternoon nap or catch up on sport in the private, separate TV lounge. For those who aren’t sports lovers there are a selection of satellite TV channels or DVD’s to choose from.

In the winter you can make a cosy fire in the living area and curl up on one of the comfy sofas with a good book and a glass of local estate wine. The open- plan dining area with its gracious interior of warm tones and silky fabrics is ideal for romantic, candlelit dinners. At the end of the day, retire to the comfort and luxury of queen size beds and feather duvets .On chilly evenings snuggle into fleecy gowns and fill the hot water bottles provided. In the summer, have a swim or play a game of tennis at the estate’s recreational centre.
