Mackenzie’s Golf & Guesthouse opened its doors in the year 2000 and is well situated in the Cape Town North area - in the heart of the famous Durbanville Wine Valley and close to Tygervalley and Bellville Business Park. The private hospital is in walking distance of 10 minutes. Durbanville Conference Centre is five minutes away and so is the newly renovated De Ville Shopping Centre with a variety of interesting shops, restaurants and Virgin Active Fitness Centre. Cape Town Business Hub, the world famous V&A Waterfront, Table Mountain, Blouberg beach, West Coast Ostrich farm and many other tourist attractions are all a 35 minutes drive away.

Accommodation

Mackenzie's is a family run guest house surrounded by a beautiful landscaped garden with saltwater swimming pool. All five spacious double rooms are pleasantly decorated and offer bath / shower, WC, TV and M-Net, mini bar, ventilator and a coffee or tea preparation facility. Secure parking is provided on the premises. Electric heaters and blankets will keep you warm in the cold winter months.

Our TV room in the main house allows our guests to watch satellite programme's whilst enjoying a good glass of Durbanville wine or browsing the internet. Wireless internet is available in all the rooms and is free of charge. We are famous for our knowledge in regard of golf, wine and dining and specialise in accommodating of small golf groups.

Relax next to the swimming pool in the warm summer months and enjoy the guesthouse speciality of Wiener Eiskaffee and home baked cakes.

Breakfast

An ample breakfast is served in the dining room or by the poolside. Coffee, tea, home baked bread and cakes as well as snacks are always available. Dinner can be ordered on request.

Tailor made golf packages are available on request and it is our pleasure to booking all your golf tee times, restaurant bookings or car rental. An in-house Western Province Tour Guide will help you to find all the needed information for a perfect holiday and we offers our guests airport transfers, taxi service and full day services.
