Little France \ Accommodation in Robertson

Little France is a fifth generation family farm with the Du Toit’s as proud owners. Set in the picturesque wine-producing valley of Robertson, the Little France country house offers luxury and indulgence. Two hours drive from Cape Town airport, Little France Guest House is the perfect getaway for anyone visiting the Western Cape.

Enjoy a stroll through our magnificent garden or meditate in our gazebo, overlooking a duck pond and little fishponds. The garden offers exceptional bird watching with specimens like Hadeda, Cape Robin, Swallow, Sunbirds, flocks of Guinea Fowls and other breeds.

Accommodation

We have eight en-suite bedrooms in the main house and three self-catering units between the plum trees. All the rooms offer antique furniture and pure cotton linen. Some lead on the balconies or private patios.

• Room 1 (Flat) - self catering, sleeps three: one double bed, one single bed
• Room 2 (Flat) - sleeps four: one double bed, two single beds
• Room 3 - sleeps two: one double bed, private entrance
• Room 4 - sleeps three: one double bed, one single bed, private entrance
• Room 5 - sleeps two: one double bed, private entrance / exit opening to the swimming pool
• Room 6 on 1st floor - sleeps two: one double bed – own balcony with beautiful views
• Room 7 on 1st floor - sleeps two: one double bed – own balcony with beautiful views
• Room 8 - sleeps two: double bed, private entrance / exit on swimming pool

Self Catering Units
• Unit 1 - sleeps two: double bed room, kitchen, bathroom, braai area
• Unit 2 - sleeps two: double bed room, kitchen, bathroom , braai area
• Unit 3 - sleeps two: double bed room, kitchen, bathroom, braai area

Breakfast and Dining

Included in the tariff is a farm breakfast served in the dining room in winter or next to the swimming pool in summer. Dinner is served (on request) in a unique country style. Menus consist of hearty home-cooked dishes. A complementary sherry can be enjoyed in front of a communal fire-place in winter or alongside the swimming pool in summer.
