Recently upgraded and redecorated, Romney Lodge (formally Launic House), offers stylish African-colonial accommodation in peaceful and tranquil surroundings.

ACCOMMODATION

This beautiful Victorian house built in 1903 offers six tastefully decorated en-suite rooms. All rooms have been recently beautifully refurbished and are very individual in an african-colonial style with a touch of Euro chic. All original floors and woodwork have been restored to their former splendour and the spacious rooms have high pressed ceilings and overhead fans. We offer satellite TV, wall safes and free wireless internet access.

Breakfast is served in the new conservatory with views and the early morning sun streaming in.

LOCATION

Romney Lodge is within walking distance of the famous Victoria and Alfred Waterfront where you can shop till you drop, and some of the top 100 restaurants of Cape Town.

Take a stroll down to The Promenade where you can walk along the edge of the ocean and watch the spectacular sunsets of Cape Town.

It’s only a ten minute drive to the Clifton Beach and a twenty minute drive to Camps Bay Beach. It takes a mere 30-40 minute drive to the famous winelands of the Cape.
