In the Vineyard, is a lifestyle farm nestled at the foot of the majestic Helderberg Mountain range between Somerset West and Stellenbosch along the R44. It is here that Teresa and Kotie Peplers' long term vision of providing a superlative boutique venue has been realised.

A visit to In the Vineyard offers an experience to inspire the senses. The centrepiece of this flagship venture is the wedding and conference centre. Nestled around the magnificent double volume building, a cosy country tearoom and expansive verandah, with equally expansive views, a gift shop, clothes boutique and a gourmet restaurant. Here is a setting that celebrates the countryside, celebrates fine food, fine wine, and friendship, a perfect backdrop for your own celebration.

The Venue

Opened to much acclaim in 2010 In the Vineyard provides the ideal setting for your special day. Whether tying the knot, or sealing a deal, here is a setting where memories are made and friendships forged. As you enter the farm, the landmark Cape Colonial structure at the base of the Helderberg Mountain provides your guests with the first glimpse of the special day in store.

In the Vineyard has been custom designed to offer the maximum in flexibility, whether you are hosting a grand wedding for 150, or a more intimate family birthday gathering. Your hosts never forget this is your event and will design the schedule and layout around your specific wishes.

The on site team work in tandem with the Western Cape’s finest stylists, florists, entertainers, photographers and suppliers to provide you and your guests, a truly memorable experience. Our aim is a simple one ... to exceed your expectations.

Conferences

Making your Business ours too
Only 20 minutes from Cape Town airport, In the Vineyard is gaining an increasing reputation for corporate hospitality and day conferencing. The venue provides air conditioning, 24 hour security and CCTV surveillance to parking and public areas, providing peace of mind to you and allowing your delegates to concentrate on the day at hand.

Weekday venue packages
Affordable weekday packages are available Monday through Thursday for bespoke conferences or informal get togethers and include venue hire and catering.

TEA ROOM & TERRACE

Adjoining the venue, and enjoying the same majestic views, the tea room provides a convivial space for a country breakfast or lunch. Healthy options sit alongside more traditional dishes, and while I can't pretend that our gorgeous cakes will improve your waistline, they are good for the soul ! Drop in for a café latte, rooibos tea, or a glass of wine. Bring friends or make new ones. In the unlikely event that you tire of the views, newspapers and international magazines help wile away the time.

Harvest Table
On Tuesdays and Wednesdays the Tea Room brings you their Harvest Table Lunch – a beautifully presented buffet spread. Dishes as diverse as they are delicious - Thai crab cakes, lasagne, Stuffed Chicken breast, all built on fresh seasonal vegetables and herbs straight from our farm garden. Eat with your eyes before savouring the abundance that the Helderberg Region has to offer in food and wine. A decadent midweek treat. Of course light lunches are available all day every day

The Weekend starts here
On Friday evenings, The terrace hosts an informal canapé and wine evening. A great way unwind for the weekend. An ever changing selection of canapés or tapas, paired with regional wines available by the glass, or bottle make for the perfect sundowner. Bring a camera to this family friendly get together.

THE GREAT OUTDOORS
In addition to catering to guests inside, and on the terrace, the Tea room will prepare you its signature picnic basket . Featuring cold cuts, cheeses, salads, and freshly baked breads. You may just find some brownies and strawberries in there too! The picnic basket and manicured lawn encourage lazy days, and evoke memories of sun filled summers and laughter ... the important things in life.

A nine hole putt putt course and jungle gym will keep the most active of children safely occupied.

Butic Lau-Sanne stocks Sequoia fashion jewellery, imported from London, a range to add a truly feminine touch to any outfit. Our on-site tailor can assist you with any alterations.
