Heidi Cottage \ Accommodation in Franschhoek

Charming luxury 4 Star graded Cape Dutch style cottage located in tranquil tree-lined corner of beautiful Franschhoek village, just a short walk from the art galleries, restaurants and shops on the High Street. Heidi Cottage offers self-catering accommodation for 2 - 4 guests. Children are welcome.

Accommodation

Immaculately decorated and furnished in a Cape country style, Heidi Cottage has 2 bedrooms (choice of single or double beds), 2 bathrooms, a large separate cottage style kitchen and large separate lounge/dining room with feature gas fireplace and under-floor heating.

Luxury bed linen and towels, including pool towels, are provided. We also provide bed blankets for those chilly winter evenings. White Orchid luxury shower gel, shampoo and hand soap are provided in each of the bathrooms.

Facilities

The patio doors lead onto a sunny verandah covered with grape vines, and an established private garden filled with flowers. The delightful salt-water swimming pool is a generous 7 x 3 meters and 1.8 meters deep. The pool area is paved and is equipped with luxury wooden sun-loungers, lounger mattresses and sun umbrella.

The front of Heidi Cottage is fringed with jasmine, white roses and French lavender bushes. The flower-filled rear gardens are the perfect place for a sundowner after a hard day by the pool or winetasting. Heidi Cottage is alarmed and has off-street parking and a garage.

The cottage is fully equipped. There is full satellite tv and a dvd player in the living room. The kitchen includes a full stove, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, kettle etc. There are full laundry facilities with washing machine, tumble-drier, iron and ironing board. We also provide braai/barbeque facilities.

Attractions

Heidi Cottage is the ideal place from which to explore all that the Franschhoek valley has to offer. The local wine estates produce some of the region's finest wines and Franschhoek has several of South Africa's best restaurants. Franschhoek is within easy reach of Cape Town (Airport 45 minutes) and lovely beaches along the coast. Outdoor activities include hill-walking, horse-riding, mountain-biking, and fly-fishing.
