Heaven & Earth Cottage \ Accommodation in Hermanus

Tucked away in the picturesque mountains of the Hemel en Aarde Valley near Hermanus, lies "Heaven & Earth", a self-catering cottage on a farm.

Rustic and cosy in its appearance with thick walls and wooden beams oozing lots of character. Energetic young farmer Danie and his wife Sonja renovated the dilapidated building to its former glory; that of a typical open-plan farm dwelling.

The farm boasts a beautiful dam, an adventurous hiking trail into the mountain through a forest. Don't be surprised if you startle a duiker or ribbok on the way!

Come and experience the ambience and atmosphere of a Western Cape farm in the mountains. It is situated 10km from Hermanus which is known for their famous whale festival and swimming in the sea is therefore only 10 minutes away. Also closely accessible to Stanford and Arabella Hotel.

Self Catering Accommodation

This self catering cottage can sleep four adults and two children and consists of:

• Small open plan kitchen: refrigerator, kettle, toaster, microwave, oven and cutlery
• Bathroom: only shower facility
• Lounge: Fireplace, DSTV and DVD / CD Player
• One Queen size bed: provided with bedding - part of open plan cottage
• Two single beds: provided with bedding - part of open plan cottage

A separate bedroom consists of:
• One Queen size bed: provided with bedding
• Bathroom: only shower facility

• Mountain biking - supplied by yourselves and at own risk

• Dam for swimming and water sports (supply your own gear)
