Die Opstal is a simple but functional architectural style house based on the historical West Coast Fisherman's cottages as seen all around Paternoster.

Similar to a magical Greece's old-world charm with rustic furniture typical of a fisherman's village with that faint perfume of the past that one only seems to find in houses that are very much out of the ordinary.

Country chairs, robust sofas, antique hats and plates in frames, pure cotton white bedrooms with one "ossewa" four-poster - all things perfectly modulated.

Die Opstal is situated in the 2nd row from the beach, approximately 60 metres from the beach and sea. The house is purposely designed with 5 cottages around the swimming pool, sleeping one couple per cottage, all double beds.

Just the right choice for couples or the bigger family or groups! Pet Friendly with conditions.

STUDIO Cottage
With interleading door for bigger families. Cottage on the front "stoep". Double bed bedroom en-suite. Jetmaster. Limited view. Front and pool braai. Own front entrance. Back entrance leading to pool area.

THATCH Cottage
With interleading door for bigger families. Cottage leading onto the front “stoep”. Double-story with “ossewa” double bed bedroom upstairs. Limited view from bedroom. Own front entrance. Back entrance leading to pool area. Braai area at the pool or front stoep.

DETATCH Cottage
Cottage slightly apart from the rest, with own under roof braai and side entrance. Front door directly on pool. No view.

STOEP Cottage
With interleading door for bigger families. Cottage with own front "stoep" and braai. Double Bed Bedroom. Limited view. Bathroom with shower and bath.

TOP STUDIO
Upstairs en suite double bedroom with own terrace. The studio does not have a full kitchen; breakfast facilities only, which includes kettle, toaster and small fridge. Beautiful views.

All the cottages are contained under one roof. Each cottage consists of built-in cupboards, shower room and open plan living/dining/kitchen area. Each kitchen has a fridge / freezer, stove / oven and microwave. Pure cotton linen and bath towels supplied. Satellite television with Premium Bouquet of M-Net Movies 1/2 plus Super Sport 1 / 2 / 3 available.

Die Opstal is just the place for reading, snoozing or doing strictly nothing at all.

As a self-catering establishment, guests are responsible for keeping their apartment clean.
Laundry facilities located between the Noisy Oyster and Paternoster Hotel.
