Cosy Cottage \ Accommodation in Pinelands

Cosy Cottage is owned and operated by Barbara and Ken Meek and located in a quiet, established part of Pinelands, Cape Town. Besides the main house, there are two letable self catering accommodation units on the property, referred to as the Cottage and the Studio.

Accommodation

Both units have separate lock-up parking facilities. All guests may use the braai (barbecue), the swimming pool and laundry facilities. Units are serviced three times per week. Tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided; continental breakfast is available, if required, for an additional charge.

Both units are quite private so guests can come and go without disturbing anyone else or being disturbed. Barbara is a qualified tour guide and can advise you on places to go if you are new to Cape Town .

Unit 1 - The Cottage:
The Cottage is a free-standing unit consisting of a bedroom with a comfortable double bed and quality pillows; an en-suite bathroom with a big shower and new toilet and basin. Towels and soap are provided; a separate kitchen with a fridge, stove, microwave and toaster plus normal cutlery, crockery and utensils. There is a small table in the hall that can be used to eat at or to work on; a lounge with a couch and a sleeper couch, a TV set, a radio and a bookshelf. Additional books are available in the main house; a small but private patio.

Unit 2 - The Executive Studio:
The Executive Studio adjoins the main house but remains very private with a separate entrance and gate. It consists of a large bed-sit with an XL Queen-size bed; an en-suite bathroom with big shower and new toilet and basin; towels and soap are provided. A fully equipped kitchenette, including fridge, stove, microwave and toaster; a sitting area with two armchairs and double French doors opening onto a large sunny patio; TV with MNET and shared DSTV.

Pinelands

Although Pinelands is very centrally situated with easy access to everywhere, public transport is not great and you will probably need a car. Reasonable car hire facilities are available close-by if required.
