Accommodation

The Resort with panoramic views over dam from your cottage and mountains in the distance has a communal swimming pool with dam to fish, swim and canoe (hire) in. There is a restaurant (which focuses on good value for money) for your breakfast, lunch and dinner needs.

The ten cottages which are 4 star quality with 3 star price range has en suite bath and shower, Queen size beds with cotton percale bedding, DSTV with LCD flatscreen TV’s, air con, and open plan kitchen (stove, oven, microwave and fridge freezer) with views over the dam. The golf course is only 1km away in town and the town’s mountain bike route goes past the resort. There is Free Wifi at all the cottages.

The venue seats up to a maximum of 300 guests if dancing is not required and up to 200 guests with use of a spacious dance floor on the deck. If rest, relaxation and revitalisation is all the activity you need, our Day Spa has a range of options that are sure to please. Treat yourself @ Exclusively You beauty spa. We offer a variety of treatments including massage, facials, manicures and pedicures as well as the basic beauty treatments. If you want the tan for the summer, there is also a vertical sunbed that takes 10 minutes out of your day. Book in advance to avoid disappointment.

Activities

Take time to do absolutely nothing - or time to do everything! Bydidam Resort hosts a huge diversity and choice of sport and leisure activities for the active and not so active alike. This include on resort canoe and paddle boat hire where you can do fishing, swim on as well with in town activities that include Golf, Horse Riding, mountain bike trails and lovely coffee shops. Farm

The family run farm has been with the family for decades and includes citrus and an ostrich tannery.
