Only 80 minutes’ drive from Cape Town International Airport, Braeview will provide you with comfortable B&B or self catering accommodation in the picturesque town of Hermanus.

A short stroll away from the village and restaurants, Braeview offers charming, quality accommodation in a tranquil, scenic environment close to the famous whale watching cliffs of Hermanus, also known as the Heart of the Whale Route.

From June to December our coastline is visited by hundreds of Southern Right Whales and during this period you will be entertained by these wonderful giants of the sea when they nurse and play with their offspring just 20 metres away!

Guests have a choice of 5 B&B options or 2 on a Self Catering basis.

B&B options
• En-suite bedroom
• En-suite garden cottage
• Room with private bathroom
• Two rooms sharing a bathroom
• Suite with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen and patio

Self catering
• 3 Bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge & dining room combined. Fully equipped kitchen and patio(sleeps 6 people)
• Quaint garden cottage (sleeps 4 people)

Guests have the use of a separate lounge with Satellite TV and M-Net and the kitchen provides coffee and tea making facilities.

Apart from whale watching or just relaxing on the patio in the garden with a book, there is a whole series of activities awaiting you, including:
