The Bay Lodge Gansbaai \ Accommodation in De Kelders

A warm welcome awaits you at this friendly B&B with its relaxed, homely atmosphere. The Bay Lodge overlooks Walker Bay with its different moods, magnificent scenery and breathtaking sunsets.

We're situated close to the secluded little beach called Standfords Cove in De Kelders and approximately 3 kms from Gansbaai known as the Great White Shark capital. View the whales and dolphins (seasonal June-December) from our own balconies. We offer cosy, comfortable rooms with sea and mountain views.

We overlook Walker Bay with its magnificent scenery and breathtaking sunsets. We are in walking distance of a little secluded beach called: "Stanford's Cove", in De Kelders, and approximately 3km from Gansbaai. Gansbaai is called 'The Big 2 Town' namely for the Great White Shark and the Whales. View the dolphins and whales (seasonal June to Dec) from our bedrooms and balconies.

Accommodation

We offer 4 double rooms, of which 3 have beautiful views of Walker Bay. All the rooms are tastefully decorated in soft colours. Beach towels can be supplied on request. All rooms are non-smoking, but allowed on balconies. We have a guest lounge with satellite TV from a dual decoder, a fridge and microwave.

The lounge has a lovely view of the bay, with Hermanus and Hangklip in the distance. Comfortable easy chairs make for a lovely relaxed atmosphere.

Boat-based whale watching and great white shark excursions can be arranged. Enjoy a walk through the "Fynbos" and along the rocks and cliffs of our rugged coastline. Experience a very local feeling at a Pub & Grill, walking distance from the B&B. A restaurant shuttle is available in our local town.
