We call our 4-bedroom, Cape Town beach bungalow 'Bakoven Bliss because bliss is what you experience when you stay here. It’s a rare and enchanting place that offers privacy, ocean and mountain views and secluded beaches on your doorstep, along this sought-after stretch of Bakoven - Camps Bay coastline.

Bakoven is a unique Cape Town coastal village that it is a place of peace and calm, yet within walking distance of the vibrant, beachfront restaurant boulevard of Camps Bay. Bakoven Bliss is your tranquil retreat for enjoying magical seaside moments and entertaining in style, but it’s still close enough to all the tourist attractions for fun days out.

Blissful Living

Bakoven Bliss has recently had a makeover and its new head-turning appearance and superb location make you exclaim 'wow'. With finishes of the very highest quality, it is fit for the most discerning guest. The interiors express a tranquil beach side character, with a seamless flow from the stylish kitchen to the double-volume living area and out onto a sun-filled deck. Beyond is lawn and shrubs, then giant boulders leading to the endless Atlantic Ocean. Bakoven Bliss has a perfect sunny aspect and west-facing deck to watch a watery African sunset.

Self CAtering accommodation

All four bedrooms are fully fitted, with en-suite bathrooms, fresh white linens and a superb sea view:

• Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed
• Bedroom 2 has twin single beds that can be converted to a sumptuous king-size bed
• Bedroom 3 has a double bed
• Bedroom 4 is accessed from the courtyard and has a ¾ bed and is perfect for a grandparent, au pair or teenager who wants more privacy

Bakoven Bliss has it all when it comes to entertainment, with comprehensive options for viewing, listening and keeping in touch via your laptop, with wireless internet connection, LCD high definition TV, DStv satellite channels, DVD, iPod station and surround sound.

Bakoven Bliss is managed by Lily who will see to all your needs, such as a trusted au pair should you require one. Cynthia is responsible for housekeeping and cleans the house on a Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

Access & Security

Bakloven Bliss holiday cottage is in a cul-de-sac road with a private driveway and two parking spaces positioned next to the pedestrian gate and stairs. As with most residences on the ocean slopes, there are a few steps down before reaching the front door (15 to be precise).

Security is very good with state of the art alarm, cameras at the gate and a private security presence in the area.
