Six luxurious en-suite rooms, including a gorgeous honeymoon suite, are individually decorated in the colours and moods of Provence.

Loft rooms are light and stylish with great mountain and vineyard views. Pool rooms overlook the plum orchards and majestic mountains beyond. The bathrooms are magnificent with separate showers, double basins and heated towel rails. Underfloor heating and ceiling fans ensure year round comfort. A selection of rooms now also boast air-conditioning units for added comfort.

The deliciously romantic honeymoon suite has a large bathtub, double showers and king size double bed beneath a hand painted pastoral ceiling of clouds and birds. The Auberge has a lovely pool overlooking the plum orchards, and a tennis court for the more energetic.

Self Catering Villa
In addition, Clermont has an historic self catering two bedroom, two bathroom villa. Step back in time and enjoy this secluded, beautifully appointed old Cape farmhouse, with large covered terrace, private swimming pool and stunning views of the Franschhoek Mountains. The villa also has a large loft room with bathroom - ideal for children. A delightful home away from home, even in winter with the sitting room having a wonderful open fireplace.

Horse trails, scenic walks and personalised wine tours are just a few of the other pleasures in store. The scent of roses, rosemary and lavender is everywhere with the ever present tranquil sounds of farm and bird life. Linger over a delicious breakfast served under 18th century oak trees overlooking the vineyards and orchards, or in the charming courtyard dining room.

Enjoy a game of tennis or a splash in the pool. Time is your own - walk through vineyards flanked by white rose bushes or stroll down the lavender walk to the river which flows through the middle of the farm. On request, our staff can also provide the most delicious picnic for you to enjoy at the river or under the oaks!

Clermont is also the home of The Franschhoek Olive Oil Company - the owners are always delighted to show guests the workings of the olive oil press situated on the farm.
