Accommodation

Albatross Guesthouse offers you spacious and comfortably furnished double bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom, Dstv, coffee and tea making facilities, a microwave oven, bar fridge, ceiling-fans and own private entrance, leading out onto the patio.

A romantic garden setting with barbecue (braai) facilities under the "lapa" for the “do-it-yourself” types can also have its funny moments as the day's activities are discussed. Many folks who meet at the Albatross for the first time, ever, form bonds of friendship that last for ever.

Breakfast

Our world renowned breakfast is available as an optional extra on request. We offer you 3 different options: 1) an English breakfast, or 2) a Health breakfast, or if you prefer, 3) a well stocked picnic basket, to see you through the day.

Activities and Attractions

A splendid 18 hole, Gary Player designed golf course, further enhances, this already famous sportsmans paradise, to a level far exceeding expectations. It regularly draws golfers from Switzerland, Germany, Japan and other countries to play this excellent course.

Due to its close proximity to many other seaside towns, bird sanctuaries, the fossil park, the West Coast National Park and various private game reserves, all within a days drive, Langebaan has indeed become a place of choice for many, South Africans as well as visitors from abroad. Most tourists often make Langebaan their home base, from where they plan day trips to other places of interest.

Wind surfers, kayaking teams, fishermen, and yachting enthusiasts from all over, regularly visit our shores to practice their skills, or, simply just to relax and lie in the sun.

Albatross Guesthouse is conveniently situated in the centre of town, within walking distance to the beach, shops and all the restaurants, the library and banks.

A five minute drive from the Albatross takes you to the Mykonos Casino, where you have a number of eating places to choose from, and which also offers romantic, luxury boat trips on the lagoon. For the "brave hearts" there is also the opportunity of "chance" and who knows perhaps Lady Luck will smile on you this day?
