Airlies is located in an historical house built at the beginning of the previous century offering Guest House and Bed & Breakfast Accommodation in Montagu, the heart of Route 62, in the Breede River Valley in the Western Cape.

Accommodation

Enjoy the comforts of spacious elegant bedrooms where high ceilings and wooden floors offset crisp linen. Sparkling pool for summer, log fires in winter. Within safe walking distance from excellent restaurants and many attractions.

Breakfast & Dining

A delicious breakfast is personally prepared and served by us.

Dinners are also served for groups of 6 to 8 only, on request (at least 24 hours in advance, please). Braai (barbecue) equipment, a swimming pool and secured parking are available on the premises.

MONTAGU

Montagu is the western gateway to the Little Karoo as well as the scenic heart of Route 62, the historic link between Cape Town, the Garden Route and Port Elizabeth (Addo Elephant Park).

Montagu is about two hours drive from Cape Town. It is the perfect stop for tourists traveling between Cape Town and Port Elizabeth. Port Elizabeth is about 6 hours drive to the east.

A unique rural atmosphere distinguishes Montagu as one of the best kept late Victorian agricultural villages in the Western Cape. The many attractions and the fact that Montagu is centrally situated makes it a sought after tourist town and perfect base from where the countryside can be explored.
